Mira is an Integrative Psychotherapist with over 20 years clinical experience both nationally and internationally. She holds a bachelor with honours in Developmental Neurophysiology and Genomics and a post graduate-Masters equivalent in Clinical Social Work from The University of Queensland, Australia. She also holds a Masters in Dance and Movement Psychotherapy from Roehampton University, London.
Mira has extensive clinical experience both with young people, children, adults and families, working with issues ranging from depression, anxiety, eating disorders, post traumatic stress and trauma related disorders, to stress management, goal setting, and life coaching. Her practice is informed by Psychotherapy,Mindfulness Based Therapies and the Creative Arts Therapies, in particular Dance and Movement Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
Mira is registered Integrative therapist with UKCP and is currently completing her UKCP registered supervision training. She is also registered with ADMP UK as a registered Dance Movement Psychotherapist. She is an accredited Clinical Mental Health Practitioner with the Australian Association of Social Workers. She is also a member of the International Federation of Social Workers and the Australian Dance and Movement Therapy Association.
