Alix is a Chartered and Practitioner Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and the British Psychological Society. She trained in South Africa and has experience of assessing and conducting psychotherapy for children, adolescents and parents.
Alix has a particular interest in the emotional development of children and has a wealth of experience of working therapeutically with families who have experienced significant change, loss, bereavement or trauma. She also has specialist training and experience of working with teachers and school leadership teams to enhance school processes and practices to meet the needs of children with special educational needs. Alix offers full psycho-educational assessments, play therapy, psychotherapy and family therapy at the practice.
