International Services

The Ed Psych Practice provides an international service where a therapist or multi-disciplinary team will travel to your home or school in most places around the world.

Our international service has proved to be a popular choice for parents living in countries where services for children with special needs may not be particularly well developed, or for expatriate families keen to maintain appropriate support for their child while abroad. Our therapists ensure that each child’s needs are managed in a holistic manner. After our visit we continue to support families and schools via telephone and email communication and will re-visit on a regular basis to review, re-assess the programmes and targets, and provide additional support as required.

Examples of work carried out with families:

·         Assessment and diagnosis

·         Provision of home/school programmes and monitoring

·         Liaising with professionals working with the child to set a clear programme.

·         Training packages for parents and the school staff who work with the child

·         Strategies to support speech and language development, and motor development

·         Strategies to support learning and well being

·         Updated reports when families are relocating to the UK
